The M I R A G E standard seating comes in either a regular fit or small fit seat.
The Mirage standard seating, is molded to perfectly fit the inner dimensions of a Mirage Sea Kayak. This seating is in a fixed location and the stiffness of the material, offers a very direct feel and connection to your body. When you add the comfort kit, it is a perfect multi-day touring, comfortable set-up.
The stock fit-out for your Mirage is determined by the model that you purchase.

New to the M I R A G E outfitting is the SilverStorm Closed-Cell Foam seating, hand-made in Australia by Dave Winkworth
The SilverStorm Foam Seat is made from a specially selected closed cell foam which offers the paddler warmth, resiliency and easy customising.
The seat has been cut to give maximum fore/aft length and height to make your paddling trips as comfortable as possible. With a velcro attachment, you can easily modify the fore/aft length.
This seat gives you more flex in your movement when paddling, compared to a Mirage seat, which are very stiff and very responsive. The foam also provide a very insulated feel and is therefore very warm during the winter months. The closed-cell foam is waterproof and therefore will not absorb any water.

The cost is an additional $250.00 (fitted) or $150.00 with the purchase of a new kayak.
