PADDLES Mirage Sea Kayaks offer a wide variety of Australian made high quality paddles to add to the enjoyment of paddling your Mirage kayak. Paddles are available from stock, or can be made to measure, in length, angle of blade layback, the choice of straight shaft or split shaft, as well as the choice of Touring or Propeller blades. The paddles have been rigorously tested in a wide variety of paddling conditions from Bass Strait ocean crossings, 111km Hawkesbury River Classic endurance race events through to harbour, lake and estuary paddling.
	MAKO Carbon Propeller Paddle	$400
	The Mako Propeller paddles with Spectrum blades are unique in that they have two curves interacting with each other. One curve is 60 degrees off the centreline, and the other is 30 degrees off the centre of the perpendicular, giving a blade that flows nicely in the water, whilst rewarding a more natural paddling style. Comes in a variety of blade sizes (small, medium and large) and degrees of layback.
	SKEE Carbon Touring Paddle	$340
	The SKEE Carbon Touring paddle is an excellent paddle for all levels of paddlers and paddling conditions.The blade width is 195mm, and the blade shape near equal amounts of force on each half of the blade face, as it enters and exits the water. This reduces the need to over grip the paddle. The shaft is made from Kevlar reinforced carbon for both strength and to minimise weight.
	SKEE Fibreglass Touring Paddle	$235
	The SKEE Fibreglass paddles consist of 28.5 - 29mm fibreglass shaft, white fibreglass blades, locator and black heatshrink. All paddles are reinforced with Kevlar for extra strength.
	MAKO Fibreglass Touring Paddle	$235
	The Mako Classic Fibreglass Touring paddles has a sharp rib for stability and low profile back strengthening rib. It has solid, aggressive catch and 25mm of curve. Length - 460mm, Width - 185mm.
	Split Shaft System	$45
	Both the MAKO and SKEE paddles are available with the 2-piece Split Shaft System. This creates a 2 piece paddle giving a 100mm adjustment in length, as well as infinite angle adjustment. A standard angle indicator is included on the centre ring, which allows the paddler to make easy adjustments, even on the water.
	Drip Rings	$15
	Drip rings, to minimise water dripping from the blades onto the paddler, are available when ordering your paddle.
	Paddle Leashes	$28
	The Paddle Leashes provide a 1.5mtr long connection between your kayak and your paddle. With an easy velcro connection for your paddle and a strong rotating nylon clip to the boat, the paddle leash can be connected or disconnected in an instant.

	Trek PFD Type 2 The Trek is the most advanced paddling vest on the market today. It has expanding cargo pocket system with an EPIRB/GPS pocket which will keep everything handy, a rear hydration pocket with an expanding zipperless design and is insulated to help keep your refreshment cool. The shoulder design is adjustable with neoprene allowing the whole unit to flex and move with you. The Trek has a stable buoyancy design with over 6kg of upward thrust. 	Available in RED or YELLOW, the Ultra Pinnacle is packed full of features like a specially designed EPIRB/GPS pocket and expanding cargo pockets. The rear hydration pocket is also an expanding zipperless design. A front zip for easy fitting has been added and a multiple side adjusters for added security is now included. The shoulder design is adjustable with neoprene allowing the whole unit to flex and move with you. The Pinnacle Series II has a stable buoyancy design with over 6kg of upward thrust. 	Ultra REWA	$105
	Finally an economical PFD that is designed particularly for women. With buoyancy where you need it and less foam in the bust area this vest fits neatly whilst offering the support you need without the feeling of your bustline being squashed. Active cut for superior comfort and freedom of movement this vest will move with you and provided a utility pocket and hydrator pocket for maximum versatility. Features: 150 Rip stop outer layer High Visibility Colour Low profile design for active water sports, plus a utility Pocket.
	Hydration Bladder	$20
	The 2 litre Hydration Bladder fits most life vests and back packs, and has a high flow TPE valve and leak proof cap. The inside surface is super smooth polyethylene ensuring both taste free water and odour resistance. Calibration markings in ounces and litres.

Made from the highest quality terry towelling, the Kayak Sock has a reinforced front end to neatly fit the bow of your Mirage and a draw string stern to ensure a perfect fit for your kayak. The Kayak Sock is a great way to ensure salt water doesn't drip onto your car when transporting after a paddle. 	Mirage Neoprene Spray Cover	$145
	Made from the highest quality of 3mm Supertex Neoprene for outstanding stretch and durability. The Mirage Neoprene Spray Cover comes in standard sizes of small, medium, large extra large, XX large, XXX large up to XXXXX large. Seams are glue stitched and sealed to maximise waterproofing. Comes with a strong and wide 'Grip Strap' and fits all models of Mirage Sea Kayaks.
	Mirage 'Combi' Spray Cover	$145
	The Mirage 'Combi' Spray Cover has the deck made from the highest quality of 3mm Supertex Neoprene for outstanding stretch and durability, and the one size fits-all waist band made from strong Nylon. The Combi includes dual shoulder straps and a draw-string with locking clasp. The 'Combi' Spray Cover is an ideal Spray Cover when multiple paddlers are using the one kayak, or if your looking for a looser fit, but still effective Spray Cover. Seams are glue stiched and sealed to maximise waterproofing, and like the standard Spray Cover, the 'Combi' comes with a strong and wide 'Grip Strap' and it fits all models of Mirage Sea Kayaks.
	Mirage Cockpit Cover	$70
	The Mirage full neoprene Cockpit Cover is ideal for use on your kayak when storing outdoors (to keep unwanted crawlies and dirt/dust out). The Cockpit Cover reduces wind drag on the roof of your car and allows you to use the cockpit area for storage when travelling with the kayak.

	Hand Pump	$28
	The Hand Bilge Pump has an easy double action and can extract 400ml (14oz) per pump. It has stainless steel screws, floats for easy recovery and is only 46cm (18") long for easy storage.

	battery mounted separately in the day hatch. A waterproof switch is positioned in a recess beside the paddler's hip. Most Mirage owners only need to put their battery on charge every three to six months as it will empty the full cockpit area of water at least 13 times over. The electric bilge pump will allow a paddler to empty a full cockpit of water in approximately 4 minutes - a great safety feature.

	Compass	$125
	Being designed as expedition kayaks, the Mirage requires a good compass for paddling in fog, open water crossings, long river paddles or coastal navigation. A high quality deck mounted ships compass can be factory fitted to a recessed mount on the forward deck for hands free navigation by the paddler.
	Knee Brace Rims	$55
	Knee Brace Rims provide a paddler with a larger area to brace their knees under the Cockpit Rim. This assists the paddler with stability and to ensure a tight & secure fit in the Cockpit, especially during turns & rolls. The above price is for Knee Brace Rims fitted when an ordered kayak is being constructed. Knee Brace Rims can be easily retro-fitted to your Mirage kayak by replacing the standard Cockpit Rim (cost for retro-fitting is $155).
	Backrest	$95
	A high quality, durable, thermo formed foam backrest which is securely fastened to the kayak at 3 points. The Mirage backrest is especially designed to fit all models of Mirage Sea Kayaks, and is fully adjustable to ensure a high degree of lower back support for paddlers seeking that extra bit of comfort.
	Seat Pad	$28
	Some paddlers may like a little bit of extra padding for those long paddling sessions. The thermo formed foam seat pad is ideal and can be adhered to the seat, or left loose as an accessory that can be used as and when required.
	Comfort Combination	$110
	Some paddlers prefer the added comfort of a padded backrest & seat pad. Mirage offers the "Comfort-Combo" consisting of the above thermo formed, foam backrest that is fully adjustable, depending on your comfort needs, plus a thermo formed foam seat pad to complete the Mirage 'Comfort-Combo' package. All this at a discount price.
	Kayak Sail	Fitted $385
	For those paddlers looking to add a new dimension to their paddling experience, consider adding a Barracuda sail to your kayak (fits single and double kayaks). Known as a 'Junk' style sail, the Barracuda sail has an area of 1.2 sq mtr and is very easy to use. This highly effective sail has a large window for great visibility, and is easily deployed from the cockpit. The Barracuda sail comes with a special storage sleeve to fit the mast, sail and rigging when not being used. All sail rigging can easily be removed from the kayak when not required.
	Taped Seam	Mirage 530 - $270
	An option for paddlers planning serious expedition or surf kayaking is fitting a Taped Seam to your kayak. The Taped Seam is an external, 24mm fibreglass cloth tape which is applied to the join line around the kayak. It can be finished off in any of the 14 Mirage colours displayed under the colours section on the website. Costs for other models are Mirage 580 - $290 and a Mirage 730 - $340.
	Carrying Toggles	$20
	The Carrying Toggles on the Mirage allow for easy handling when carrying to and from the water. Additionally, the toggles are handy points if you use bow and/or stern tie down lines when travelling with your kayak on roof racks.
	Standard Rudder	$125
	The standard rudder sits approximately 8cm below the keel line of the kayak and the large surface area gives great responsiveness, even in big following seas and surf landings. It is ideal for areas where manoeuvrability is critical.
	Flush Rudder	$110
	The flush rudder has a tapered bottom edge which sits flush with the keel at the leading edge to approximately 3cm below the keel at the trailing edge of the rudder. The Flush Rudder is ideal for still water paddling or competitive river paddling. Great in weed impacted paddling areas.
	Split Shaft Paddle Bag	$70
	The Split Shaft Paddle Bag is ideal for either storing your paddle, or for transporting it as a spare paddle on the rear deck of your kayak. Made from dark grey heavy duty Nylon and with a strong Velcro flap, and numerous tie-off points, the Paddle Bag can be secured in a matter of minutes.
	Straight Shaft Paddle Bag (can carry 2 paddles)	$85
	Paddle protection is a must and assists in maintaining the performance of your paddle. This paddle bag fits two (2) paddles with foam dividers that protect the blades from rubbing. It has an easy access zip around 3 sides, and carries the 'Top Load Only ' and 'Fragile' wording in large print to ensure extra care in handling. 	Aqua Racks (pair) are the simplest, strongest and most versatile kayak storage rack you can find. Colours include charcoal, blue or olive. 	Dry Sacks	from $10
	Incredible value, durable, lightweight and compact. The Dry Sacks are made from 70 denier nylon and feature fully taped seams, Hypalon roll top closure and have a D ring securing point at closure. Are avaialable in a variety of colours, and come in 1 ltr, 2 ltr, 4 ltr, 8 ltr, 13ltr, 20ltr and 35 ltr sizes.
